Course 284 has started
On September 8th, the current course at Schiffer Berufskolleg RHEIN began, encompassing training programs for inland shipping professions, port logistics specialists, and boat building. Principal Marcus Hoffmann welcomed 39 new apprentices in inland shipping. Ten young individuals are pursuing the final examination to become an inland skipper, and eighteen apprentices are preparing for the captain’s examinations. Twenty-eight apprentices are registered for GAP 1 after the intermediate level. The eight port logistics specialists are also entering the final phase of their dual training. Twenty-five boat builders attend weekly in four different courses, following their established schedule. By the end of December, all apprentices will have 13 weeks to elevate their expertise and skills to a level that allows them to approach the examinations, whether GAP 1 or 2, with confidence. The SBKR faculty will provide competent support to the apprentices as usual, always ready to offer advice and assistance. We wish everyone great success!
